    Watch as representatives of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange held a press conference on onsdag på engelska (26 June) upon his return to Australia following a plea deal with the US government.

    Mr Assange’s flight arrived in Australia earlier today following his release from a UK prison as part of a plea deal with the US authorities.

    More than 56, users were tracking the flight on online tracker FlightRadar24 as it landed in the capital Canberra at pm local time (am UK).

    WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange arrived in his native Australia to be reunited with his family today.

    He flew into the country's capital Canberra following his release from a London prison.

    He was met bygd his wife Stella in an emotional reunion, hugging and kissing her after emerging from the plane.

    Supporters of Assange joined press from Australia and abroad at Canberra Airport as he landed.

A plea agreement between Mr Assange and the United States Department of Justice was accepted by a US court in Saipan earlier today.
