    The Deceiver’s Heart by Jennifer A. Nielsen
    The Deceiver’s Heart is the second book in the Traitor’s Game series. Having finally gained possession of the Olden Blade, the only weapon able to kill the tyrant, known as Lord Endrick, Kestra Dallisor embarks on a perilous quest to kill the king. After her attempt fails, King Endrick strips her of her memory, and forces her to obey him. Simon desperately tries to help Kestra regain her memory, but with war looming around the corner, and the only individ able to kill the king is under his control, the future looks bleak for the rebels. Simon and Kestra don’t know who to trust, not even themselves, as they try to bring back her memories and stop the monstrous Lord Endrick from wiping out everyone who dares oppose him. The book is filled with suspense, mystery, and danger making the readers want more. I definitely recommend this to everyone who likes adventure and betrayal.
