Prasad Kambli, producer of the play, said, 'When Rasika did this play, she was barely one play old but had surprised the audience with her performance.Kshitee, on other hand, has a lot of experience and we thought she would do justice to the role.' Initially, the play was to be be revived with actors Mrunmayi Deshpande and Anand Ingle in Rasika's and Vijay's roles respectively and Pushkar Shrotri as the narrator.
