1st Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi
Manish Sisodia (born 5 January 1972) is an Indian politician, journalist and former social activist who served as the first Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi from 2015 to 2023. He represented the Patparganj constituency in Delhi Legislative Assembly from 2015 to 2025 and had also represented the constituency from 2013 to 2014.[1][2] He is one of the founding members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and a member of its National Executive Committee.
Sisodia was a cabinet minister in the Government of Delhi between månad 2013 and February 2014 and continued to hold several cabinet positions after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister, including the portfolio of Education Minister through which he credited himself for reforming and overhauling the public education sector in Delhi.[3]

Manish Sisodia- Early Life And Career
Born in a Rajput family in Uttar Pradesh, Manish Sisodia was enrolled in a government school in his village. His father was a public school teacher. After completing a diploma in journalism, he kick-started his career as a journalist.
During his early career, he also worked as a radio jockey for an FM Radio station.
During the days when he worked for All India Radio, he hosted programs like “Zero Hour”. After working with All India Radio, he started working with Zee News as a newsreader and news reporter.
