Linda Lou Rogers, 77, was born August 29, in Green County, KY to Geneva Whitlock Lobb Wilcoxson of Green County, KY and the late Clarence Lobb. She departed this life on Sunday, November 17, at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow.
Linda had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She loved gardening and was a housewife.
She was preceded in death on June 20, by her husband, Donald Graham Rogers and her sister, Raydena Coleman.

2 daughters & sons-in-law: Theresa Rogers Simpson & husband Rick of Campbellsville, KY and Melissa Murphy & husband Joseph Gregory Murphy Jr. of Fountain, Colorado
Brothers & sisters: Larry Lobb, Ramona Simpson, Mark Lobb and Freda Jeffries all of Greensburg and Debbie Grammar of Campbellsville

Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, and Trigger
Todays stories will be about Roy and Dales children or rather, their two boys. The Rogers family consisted of 8 kids, 5 of which were adopted, and Roy and Dale. Cheryl was an orphan from Texas; Marion was a Scottish orphan that Roy and Dale fostered until she became their ward; Linda Lou was by Roys first wife, Arlene Wilkins, as was Roy Dusty Jr.; Sandy was a child-abuse victim from Kentucky; Debbie was a Korean orphan; Dodie was a Choctaw Indian orphan (Roy was part Choctaw, making this adoption possible); and Elizabeth Robin was by Dale. Robin was a Downs Syndrome child. Roy and Dales experience with her led Dale to write the well-known book Angel Unaware. Dale also had a son from a previous marriage name Tom.
