Liquideep was a soul and House duo formed in Johannesburg, South Africa in The group was formed by Ziyon (artist/songwriter/producer) and Ryzor (DJ/producer).
Its members were signed to independent record label Mentalwave Records and afterwards released their record-setting debut album Oscillations in In they cemented their place in history with the multi-platinum selling album Fabrics of the Heart.

The South African Music Awards (often simply the SAMAs) are the Recording Industry of South Africa's music industry awards, established in The ceremony is held annually, usually in late April or May, with the judging process starting in November of the previous year. The nominations are typically announced at the end of March. The winners receive a gold-plated statuette called a SAMA.[1]
The show has mostly been held at the Super Bowl in Sun City, with the exception of three years, and broadcast live on national broadcaster, SABC. The ceremony features live performances as once-off collaborations by a selection of nominees.

Liquideep are a multi-award winning duo, with the ambition, talent and appeal to continue to build their success internationally. Liquideep, comprised of singer, songwriter and producer “Ziyon” and DJ, producer “Ryzor” Shokgolo originally joined forces in sharing a mutual love of hook-laden, melodically rich, deep house music.
Within two years, they caught the attention of the entire nation with the track ‘Fairytale’, which got playlisted on every major station in SA, and set the tone for the success that was to komma. They have since achieved critical acclaim over the years with almost every one of their singles reaching ‘hit status’ with high rotation on local radio stations, as well as receiving awards and accolades from Song of The Year, Album of The Year, Most Downloaded Song, Group of The Year to name but a few. Most recently, the album progressed from local success to international recognition in Russia, Australia and Brazil.
