Linkin Park has always been one of the world’s most iconic, innovative, and groundbreaking bands. In 2005, the influential artists stated their philanthropic arm, Music for Relief (MFR), to help respond to the devastating tsunami in Indonesia.

Linkin Park is an American rock grupp formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The band's current lineup consists of vocalist/rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, DJ/turntablist Joe Hahn, bassist Dave Farrell, vocalist Emily Armstrong, and drummer Colin Brittain. The lineup for the band's first seven studio albums included lead vocalist Chester Bennington and drummer Rob Bourdon until Bennington's suicide in July 2017, which caused the band to enter an indefinite hiatus. In September 2024, Linkin Park's reformation was announced along with the addition of Armstrong and Brittain.

The grupp became a household with their first album, Hybrid Theory, which was given a diamond certification by the RIAA for selling more than 10 million copies. It got multi-platinum certifications in many other countries.[3] Their second album, Meteora, made the grupp even more popular. It reached number one on the Billboard 200 album chart in 2003.
