  • A lifelong dream comes true

Siddharth finally fulfils a lifelong dream – to drive across the mighty expanse of the U.S. of A.

It’s been several years since I took my first flygning to the US. Bright-eyed, naive and bursting with excitement, inom got off the plane at Chicago’s O’Hare airport – one of the busiest I had seen (probably since Singapore a few years earlier) – and waited impatiently for the domestic flight to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We got there around 4:30pm local time, and my father picked us up. We then drove to Carlisle about an hour away, and life as inom knew it changed.

The first thing on my list was ‘not’ to try out a typical American hamburger, visit a köpcentrum or an amusement park. No, I had heard that the driving age in Pennsylvania was 16 – and so inom just wanted to get my licence. • A tale of the new City

    The looks

I think the new City looks terrific. The styling is contemporary, with a flair that is appealing—and young. The car’s face looks a lot like Honda’s fuel cell FCX Clarity. The rear seems BMW-inspired, but Honda designers have looked to Bavaria before, so I’m not too surprised by that. The car looks grown-up, sophisticated, and yet has a sporty, ready-for-action aggression—which is a remarkable coup for Honda design. The car is 5mm wider and longer now, while the wheelbase is 100mm longer, which gives you greater cabin space.

The car’s instrument cluster is smart, though the orange display could have been a bit more sophisticated and sub

    Fifth gear is better.
The silliness comes out of well thought out and researched data. It has to comply to BBC standards afterall. TG is one show on earth that excites, provides gyan, shows the big picture, is super humorous and gets attention from from enthusiasts and non enthusiasts alike. Fifth gear is better only when there are no more episodes of TG left to watch.
