Who remembers Resonance? The musical group (Esther Olaedo Ebigbo and Uche Ozoigbo) that entertained us in the early 2000 and introduced different kind of kingdom dance steps because of their great songs.
Resonance musical group was a gospel group back then that was made of two people who were reported to be cousins, it was formed in 2006 in Enugu. Esther was the singer and guitarist while Uche was the rapper. Despite their group name Esther the Nigerian-German was known as ‘E star’ while Uche was known as ‘Gucheano’
They released their album “Chinwe Ike” in 2007 which blew the minds of many especially with Esther’s unique voice. Chinwe Ike was a seven-tracked skiva and it was released bygd Resonance records. Esther Abigbo’s olaedo, also known as ‘E-Star’ and Uche ‘Gucheano’ Ozoigbo, formed the Resonance group far back in 2006 in Enugu, eastern Nigeria, with an emphasis on gospel music.Their debut album “Chinweike” which means God is great in English, has sold many copies this duo collaborations elevated there instant success in Nigeria and beyond. It really set them off, winning in Enugu and Lagos several awards. Their dissolution in 2007, brought an end to the popularity of the music group.
Esther Olaedo Iyizoba (formerly Ebigbo) also known as Estar was born on the 19th of July, 1983 in Enugu, Nigeria to a Nigerian father and a German mother.
